Ultrasonic
thickness measurements are accurate, reliable and repeatable. Instant
digital readings can be achieved by transmitting sound into a material
from one side only, making it unnecessary to destroy parts. Corrosion
thickness gages measure the remaining wall thickness of parts that are
subject to corrosion or erosion. They generally employ dual element
transducers that have separate pulser and receiver transducer elements
to provide better sensitivity on rough or corroded parts such as
pipelines, storage tanks, pressure vessels, hulls and steam lines. In
general, ultrasonic thickness gages can be used to measure metals,
plastics, glass, rubber, composites and most other engineering
materials.

37DL Plus
This
advanced nondestructive ultrasonic thickness gage combines powerful
measurement features with sophisticated data acquisition and output
capabilities for applications involving pipes, tanks and other metal
structures subject to internal corrosion or erosion. |
MG2 Series
These
small but rugged units provide fast and accurate measurements on
internally corroded parts. The MG2 Series has a host of practical
measurement features including Automatic Probe Recognition, High
Temperature capabilities, and Min Max and Freeze Modes. |

Series 25 Plus |
25HP Plus
The
Model 25HP PLUS is an advanced ultrasonic gage that makes thickness,
material velocity, and time of flight measurements on materials such
as composites, fiberglass, plastic, rubber, and cast metals that are
difficult or impossible to measure using standard ultrasonic gages. |
25 Multi Plus
The
25 MULTI PLUS is an advanced ultrasonic precision thickness gage with
several unique measurement capabilities. In addition to making
thickness measurements on metal, plastic and many other materials with
varying thickness ranges, the 25 MULTI PLUS has the ability to
calculate and simultaneously display up to four separate measurements. |
25MX Plus
The
25MX PLUS is an ultrasonic precision thickness gage that provides
cost-effective solutions in applications where the opposite side of
the test material is difficult or impossible to reach. You can take
multipoint and single thickness measurements on a wide variety of
materials including metal, plastic, rubber, glass, fiberglass and
composites. |
25DL Plus
The
25DL PLUS includes a large liquid crystal display that shows both the
live ultrasound waveform and the thickness reading. This waveform or
A-Scan is ideal for turbine blade inspections and other applications
where proper transducer alignment is critical. It has 25 stored
transducer setups for direct contact, delay line and immersion
transducers, and 35 custom transducer storage locations that make it
easy to store and recall special transducer setups for almost any
application. |
Series 35 (NEW) |
Series
35
These versatile handheld models make
accurate and repeatable thickness measurements on parts where access to
the opposite surface is difficult or impossible. They can also calculate
and display Material Sound Velocity or Time-of-Flight to determine
material characteristics. Measurements are instantly displayed as large
numerals on the backlit display. |

Magna-Mike 8500
The
Magna-Mike Model 8500 uses
a magnetic method to make fast, accurate and repeatable measurements of
nonferrous materials. Measurements are made when a magnetic probe is held
on one side of the test material and a small steel target ball is placed
on the opposite side. The probe’s Hall Effect sensor measures the distance
between the probe tip and ball, resulting in a digital thickness reading. |
